With over 540 players in the state finals on Saturday and 27 teams (8 players per team) competing in the Team tournament Friday night, the World Poker Store’s Bar Poker League hosted close to 1,000 players and guests during the weekend of Poker. Players qualify for the state finals hosted at local casinos through the Bar Poker League’s progressive point system accumulating points over a 6-month period during play at local bars and restaurants. The casino partner awards the $10,000 WSOP Main Event Seat grand prize along with airfare to Las Vegas and accommodations for the World Series of Poker held annually in March. The Bar Poker League currently has 25,000 plus registered members and will continue to grow through expansion into other states in 2025.
